 I tested out the different shots from the animatic, and drew over how the character

should be sitting. This just as reference for me to make the backgrounds better and know where the focus should be etc...

New coloboard for my new concept (watch animatic!)

(OLD CONCEPT)Colorboard:

I wanted to make the fight between them visible in colors. It will be probably a little

less exaggerated as these images. The blue stands for the freedom he's going for, when he's talking against 

the man it's getting more blue, but when the man is talking it gets more orange. When they talk the fire

in the heater will also burn harder and so we get a nicer contrast. We feel the FIRE between them! When the boy gets dragged away it becomes dark, for a few seconds we don't know what's happening. Then he's at the stage again, filled with red/orange, because he's not free at all! This is his most desperate moment.... 

when he's escaped he's walking against the blue background. he's free!

too small and too fat!

Some sketches I did, still searching for the right 'deformed' face. It's quite challenging to create a face that's deformed, but also a bit appealing... it's hard and I'm Not satisfied yet, but it's fun!
